Google Maps Brings You 3D Photo Tours Of Global Landmarks

Google Maps introduces Photo Tours feature—that lets you explore landmarks from around the world in 3D photo scenes.

From famous landmarks, such as St Mark’s Basilica in Italy to the Sydney Opera House in Australia, more than 15,000 popular locations around the world can be visited using Google Maps.

To access these historical sites, users can do it in two ways:

Firstly, search for the place, get the results indicated in the left panel, and if a photo tour is available, users can either click the thumbnail image of the link to start the tour.

Alternatively, if users are browsing the map and click on the label for a particular landmark, a info window would indicate if a photo tour is available.
