‘Nike+ Auction’ Turns Your Sweat Into Auction ‘Currency’

As part of Nike’s global ‘#makeitcount’ campaign, advertising agency JWT Mexico has launched a Facebook app—‘Nike+ Auction’—that motivates you to get up and go running!
Nike+ Auction is an auction that uses the ‘distance’ users ran as ‘auction credits’—for Nike products.
The further a person runs, the more credits he/she receives—which can be used to bid for Nike products on the auction application.
To outbid a competitor for an item, you would need to ‘outrun’ that person’s bid.
The campaign uses Nike+, a popular program which tracks a person’s run through various devices, such as smart phones, iPod nanos and sports watches.
Unfortunately, this campaign is currently only available in Mexico.
