Many have created iconic tall towers out of LEGO bricks, but this time, the world’s tallest LEGO tower using the iconic bricks has been created.

To mark the 80th birthday of the Danish company LEGO, 4,000 children in Seoul, South Korea have come together for five days to build the LEGO tower.

The tower, located in front of Seoul’s Olympic Stadium, is made up of more than half a million bricks and measures 31.9-meters (105 feet) high—breaking the previous record set in France of 31.6 meters.

The Danish Crown Price Frederik placed the final brick of the tower on Sunday 13 May 2012.

LEGO was invented by Danish carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen in 1920, and was the first branded toy sold in South Korea.

The first LEGO tower was built in 1988 in London, which stood almost 50-feet tall.
