Is The World Ready For The First Gay Superhero?
DC Comics has revealed that it has reversed its decision in changing the sexual orientation of established characters—citing US President Barrack Obama as its inspiration—after the President Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriages.
According to DC’s Senior Vice President of Publicity, they have confirmed with ABC News, “One of the major iconic DC characters will reveal that he is gay in a storyline in June.”
