Street Artist Banksy Has Been Busy
UK street artist Banksy has updated his website—adding new works he’s been busy with, as well as confirming our suspicions that the ‘Child Labor in UK’ and ‘Origami Stork’ graffiti pieces were done by him.
One of his new pieces include Bush, found in Canonbury, London—where he ‘enhanced’ a bush on a wall, to suggest a ‘bush’ of a different kind.
For his Child Labor piece, he wrote that there was a coincidence in the message: “I painted this on the side of Poundland in North London. A shop which sells cheap jubilee merchandise, is located on the route of the Olympic torch relay and was caught using sweatshop labor two years ago. But I only discovered any of this afterwards—I just thought it was a nice-colored wall.”
What do you think of his new works?
