Artist Transforms Pin-Up Girls Into Zombies
French artist Angel Roy has taken the term ‘a beautiful death’ and applied it to his art series.
Called ‘Zombie Burlesque’, Roy turned vintage pin-up girls into haunting zombie portraits.
Roy manipulated the photos by using engravings and illustrations to accentuate the muscle tone and bone structure of each model—giving them a ghastly tone.
The original photos were taken by Mila Reynaud of Glamorama Studio and were edited by Roy to ‘compare the difference’ between life and death.
Frighteningly repellent, yet irresistible to look at.
