Oddly-Shaped Benches That Encourage A Change In Social Behavior
Danish artist Jeppe Hein has designed a series of modified benches, for the town of De Haan in Belgium, that breaks away from the norm of social behavior and interaction.
His ‘Modified Social Benches’ borrows the basic shape of traditional benches—but have been altered into different shapes and degrees.
By designing them in odd shapes, people are forced to interact differently with the benches, as well as people around them.
Should some be renamed anti-social benches?
