A Garden Gets ‘Pixelated’ With LEGO Sculptures

Reiman Gardens in Iowa has been ‘pixelated’ with 27 garden sculptures made by LEGO sculptor Sean Kenney, as part of the garden’s ‘Some Assembly Required’ theme.

In the show titled ‘Nature Connects’, Kenney assembled nearly 500, 000 LEGO bricks to form the 27 sculptures for 14 displays inspired by nature and gardens.

The sculptures come in different shapes and sizes—ranging from insects, animals and plants—the largest sculpture being a mother bison made with 45, 143 LEGO bricks.

According to Reiman Gardens, they said that they will be the first public garden in the country to display sculptures made from LEGO bricks.

The LEGO sculptures will be on display till October 28 2012.
