Disney Princesses And Other Characters Get The ‘Stained Glass’-Effect

Louisiana-based illustrator Mandie Manzano has imagined what Disney princesses and other characters would look like if they were made into stained glass.

In her series, Disney princesses and villains, and characters from movies such as The Avengers, Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, and Corpse Bride, take on a look as if meant for cathedrals or beautiful home décor.

“I am very intrigued by light and the fierce contrasting colors that take form when light reveals it,” Manzano wrote. “I love what light does to color and how it reflects to one’s mood. For some it’s an external beauty, and for others, it’s an internal mirror of their soul.”
