Ron Arad Designs Adjustable Eyewear That Fits Any Face
Israeli designer Ron Arad has created a range of eyewear for eyewear brand, pq Eyewear, that can be adjusted to fit any face by adjusting its wired-body.
Called the ‘A-Frame’, it features an A-shaped wire designed into the frame that can be raised or lowered to move the lenses closer or further apart—allowing users to adjust the frame to fit anyone’s face perfectly.
The same wire that forms the ‘A’ shape also forms the hinges of the glasses`that collapses automatically into its folded position when removed from the face.
According to pq’s website, each design in its A-Frame collection is named after a different London underground station.
