MUJI Offers Free, 2-Year Stay In A ‘MUJI House’
In its latest campaign, MUJI is holding a lottery, in which the winner will get to live in a MUJI house for 2 years, for free.
Located in Mitaka, Tokyo, the two-story, two-bedroom MUJI house will be fully furnished with MUJI furniture and accessories—think minimalistic, ultra-neat décor.
In return, the winner would have to participate in the company’s ‘survey’—and would be required to talk to staff and fill out questionnaires about the experience.
To see what the house would look like, users can you can either download the iPhone app from iTunes or head to the website for 360-degree tours.
The lottery ends on 25 June 2012; those who wish to participate can do so through Facebook or Twitter.
Participants need not be Japanese, but would have to be able to communicate in Japanese.
Do you think this will lead to an architecture and interior-decorating firm by MUJI in the future?
