The Largest McDonald’s Outlet To Open In London Olympic Park
McDonald’s will be opening its largest outlet at the London Olympic Park next month when the Olympic Games begin.
According to the Daily Mail, McDonald’s will be opening a two-storey restaurant that is estimated to serve up to ‘1,200 customers an hour and sell $3 million British Pounds of fast food during the Games'.
The outlet will be equipped with 1,500 seats and a first floor balcony that seats 100 people; 20 till points to serve hungry customers and the restaurant floor will be staffed by 200 employees during each shift.
As part of London’s bid to make the 2012 Games “the greenest Games ever’, the restaurant will be McDonald’s first sustainable outlet with 75% of the building and fittings to be recycled or reused.
The ‘World’s Largest McDonald’s outlet’ will, however, be bulldozed on September 9—after the Paralympics closing ceremony.
