LEGO And Google Team Up, Create Your Own Virtual Toy Brick Creations
To celebrate LEGO’s 50th anniversary in Australia, the toy brick company has teamed up with Google Chrome to create ‘Build with Chrome’—a website application that allows you to build your very own 3D LEGO creations on a plot of virtual land.
To start, users simply choose a plot of land on the ‘Google LEGO Map’ as their building site.
By placing a variety of different shaped and colored LEGO bricks together, users can build their dream creations—from houses to statues and other structures.
Once their creation is completed, it will be saved and published for the world to see.
Similarly, they can even explore the map and view LEGO masterpieces created by other users.
Currently, you can leave your ‘LEGO mark’ in Australia and New Zealand, but Build with Chrome might feature other countries in the near future.
