Coffee Cup That Keeps Your Drink Warm Longer, Without Electricity
When hot coffee gets cold, it’s sometimes inconvenient to reheat it.
London-based designer Ryan Jongwoo Choi created a cup that helps prevent your drink from cooling down, without the need for electricity.
Called ‘Burning Cup’, the cup uses the solution sodium acetate, a solution used in household heating packs—which is solid when cold and liquid when heated, and generates heat when liquid.
When the hot coffee heats up the solution, users can press the two buttons on the mug to activate the sodium acetate and warm up the drink.
