Artist Recreates Famous Paintings Using Torn Up Pieces of Magazine



Brooklyn-based artist, Vik Muniz, who previously brought us his 2 million-origami crane mosaic, is back, this time recreating famous artworks using torn up pieces of magazines.

His recreations includes iconic artworks such as Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’, Mary Cassatt’s ‘Picking Flowers in a Field’ and Cézanne’s ‘The Card Players’.

These series of artworks are part of his latest project entitled ‘Pictures of Magazine 2’.
