iPhone Case With A Physical Keyboard, For Convenience When You Need To Type
By Anthea Quay, 06 Jul 2012
In anticipation of touch screens of the future (physical buttons that appear and disappear on touch screens)—as a current solution for those with fat fingers (no offense intended), long fingernails, or wear gloves often—Seattle-based Cody and Robert Solomon and SoloMatrix have created an iPhone case that comes with a physical keyboard to make it easier for you to type.
Called ‘Spike’, the ‘TypeSmart’ iPhone case lets you transit easily from typing to receiving a call, launching an app, or playing Angry Birds.
Spike comes in two versions: Spike 1, a case that can be fitted the other way round when you need a keyboard; and Spike 2, a case that has a flip-over keyboard.
Ideal for those who like iPhones, but prefer to type on phones with keypads.
