Hot Wheels Sets Guinness World Record For Double-Loop Stunt
At the X Games in downtown Los Angeles, US, Hot Wheels drivers Tanner Foust and Greg Tracy set a Guinness World Record Title, by conquering a six-story double vertical loop in two Hot Wheels all-wheel-drive advance rally spec coupe cars.
After years of planning and months of preparation, when imitating the toy cars, Foust and Tracy experienced about 7Gs when going through the loop.
“That was pretty hardcore: the 7 Gs… I almost felt my chin hit my lap, I think, in the loop,” Foust told ESPN. “I felt like I was in a toy.”
To avoid from passing out, Foust said to “grunt, tighten your core, and try to make your eyeballs and veins pop out”.
“It's a matter of following the black line and not passing out,” he added.
