A Tree ‘Play House’ for Kindergarten Kids

A kindergarten in Japan turned a Zelkova tree located on its school grounds into a play and learning space for the children.

The tree, which has survived typhoons was designed by Tezuka Architects, and is connected to the main building of the kindergarten.

Its architecture is a compressed glass spiral made of wood and soft rubber, and contains no furniture; instead, the space allows kids freely move around.
