Iconic Movie Scenes Recreated As 16th Century Ottoman Miniatures
Istanbul artist Murat Palta has taken iconic scenes from popular western films and recreated them in the style of 16th century Ottoman miniatures.
According to Palta, he said that this project started in an experiment to blend traditional ‘oriental’ Ottoman motifs and contemporary ‘western’ films.
His series includes cult films such as ‘Star Wars’, ‘The Godfather’, ‘Terminator’ and ‘Alien’.
