World’s First Car To Come With Inbuilt Espresso Machine
For those who love their coffee on the go, Italian car company Fiat has teamed up with Italian coffee company Lavazza to create “the first standard-production car in the world to offer a true espresso coffee machine”.
The machine in Fiat’s 500L—a new, bigger, four-door vehicle—will use the technology of Lavazza’s ‘A Modo Mio’ coffee capsules.
The espresso machine will be “perfectly integrated in the car with a deck designed expressly by Fiat,” Fiat told USA Today.
However, for those who think it’s too much of a distraction, the coffee machine is optional.
The new 500L coffee car will debut in Italy this October, before making its way through the rest of Europe—and to the US in 2013.
