Adidas Creates Sneakers That Display Tweets In Real-Time
With the London Olympics 2012 all wrapped up, Adidas has turned its attention to the Rio Olympics in 2016—by debuting a new concept sneaker that displays Twitter updates in real-time.
Called the ‘Social Media Barricade’, it features an embedded LCD screen that displays the latest tweets from @adidasbarricade.
According to Adidas, they call it the “future of athlete connectivity” and they hope to have it ready for every athlete at the 2016 Olympics.
