A Gargantuan Connect-the-Dots Image of the ‘Mona Lisa’

When Thomas Pavitte decided to reinterpret the Mona Lisa in a connect-the-dots style, the Melbourne-based artist and designer ended up creating breaking an unofficial world record for the most complex dot-to-dot drawing.

Pavitte placed 6,239 dots on a piece of paper, and spent nine hours and 15 minutes joining dot to tiny dot. To make things easier for himself, he changed the colours of the dots after every 400 dots so that he could keep track of the next number he was looking for.
