Spider-Man first appeared in the August 1962 issue of Amazing Fantasy #15—less than a year later, he was given his own series.
Last week, 22 August, marked the 50th anniversary of The Amazing Spider-Man with its #692 issue.
DC and Marvel comic book artist, Marcos Martin, created a variant covers for the issue.
The five covers feature: the original spider bite, the death of Gwen Stacy, the symbiotic costume that would turn into Venom, the Clone Saga, and the New Avengers.
