Cola
You can do no more to show your love for your favorite drink than to get one of these alcoholic artworks. These psychedelic images aren’t hippie fantasies but microscopic photographs of adult beverages.
Bevshots is the company responsible for producing the florid photos. “What you can see in the magnified pictures are the crystallized carbohydrates that have become sugars and glucose,” Bevshots founder Lester Hutt told the Telegraph.
To create the images, a drop’s worth of each drink was squeezed onto a slide and then allowed to dry for up to four weeks in an airtight container. After the alcohol has dried out completely, the slides were placed under a microscope and a regular 35mm camera finished the shot.
“With my background in chemistry, I saw the potential in these kind of pictures and am so glad to be able to offer them up as art works,” Hutt was quoted as saying.
