Microsoft Teams Up With Bloomingdale’s To Unveil ‘Tweet-Powered’ Dress
What happens when you fuse technology and fashion to the life of consumers? Microsoft teamed up with Bloomingdale’s to show you the result.
For this year’s New York Fashion Week, the two companies have unveiled a ‘tweet-powered’ dress, called ‘Microsoft Research Printing Dress’—that was being developed last year—at Bloomingdale’s NYC 59th Street store.
The Printing Dress almost entirely made of paper and has a projector underneath its surface to ‘print’ tweets onto the material.
With the keyboard on the dress’s bodice, wearers can type tweets to be displayed.
Visitors can also send tweets to the dress using the hashtag #MSBLOOMINGDALES.
