The Brand Bible
Norwich-based design consultancy The Click Design worked with Norwich Cathedral from 2009 on numerous projects for the cathedral’s branding—to ‘contemporarize’ and broaden the 900-year-old building’s appeal, while maintaining its timeless quality.
When asked to create a brand guidelines manual—for staff and external suppliers to refer to—they produced a ‘bible’, in line with the Norwich Cathedral’s brand identity.
Called the ‘Brand Bible’, the book looks like a real bible.
It contains a guide on how to use the brand identity properly, and was injected with as many religious references to as possible with wit and humor.
Sadly, the document was created as a digital resource with no hard copies produced—but it was “designed and visualized to appear like a physical pocket bible,” The Click Design wrote.
