Lessons From ‘Mad Men’: Things You Shouldn’t Do In The Office

The AMC hit TV series ‘Mad Men’ is packed with drama—and the ad agency it depicts, Sterling Coooper Draper Price, isn’t your typical office environment.

Unless you’re a character in Mad Men, there are some things that you really shouldn’t do in the modern workplace—even if you aspire to be Don Draper—or else, bear the legal consequences that could come with it.

Rocket Lawyer has created an infographic, entitled ‘Legal Lessons from Mad Men: Things You Really Shouldn’t Do In The Office’, that illustrates the five “most egregious antics” from season five of the show, according to Jenny Greenhough of Rocket Lawyers.


These no-nos include: making sexually explicit drunken comments or kissing your employees; contemptuously throwing money in the face of your employee; hiring someone specifically for gender or race; embezzling funds from the company by forging your partner’s signature; and provoking conference room brawls.
