Giant ‘Hula Hoop’ Bag Was Not Inspired By Hula Hoops
For French fashion house Chanel’s Spring 2013 Ready-To-Wear collection, designer Karl Lagerfeld unveiled a bag with handles that look like ‘hula-hoops’.
The circular design was not inspired by hula-hoops, but rather serves a purpose.
“It’s for the beach,” Lagerfeld told the Daily Telegraph in an interview. “You need space for the beach towel, huh? And then you can put it into the sand and hang things on it.”
