Louis Vuitton Invites Staff To Sleep On The Job
French luxury brand Louis Vuitton has set up a giant bed in its New Bond Street boutique and invites its staff to “indulge in an hour of paid slumber”.
The work of London- and Berlin-based Scandinavian artists Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset, the ornate, over-sized bed is an installation art piece named ‘Omnes Una Manet No’x (One Night Awaits Us All).
With a golden vulture perched on one of its bedposts, employees can feel free to take a nap in it during working hours.
To top off this incredible workplace perk, writers, actors and other notable personalities are due to come by and read these dozing store assistants a bedtime story.
Other art pieces to be found in-store include an adult-sized rocking horse, a dynamite-wired wall safe, and a nest containing a golden egg.
