Posters That Blend Seamlessly Into The Streets Of New York
French photographer Fred Lebain has produced a series of photographic ‘camouflage’ posters that blend seamlessly into the sites the images were originally captured in.
The series, entitled ‘A Spring In New York’, required Lebain to take two trips to New York to create these posters.
The posters were nearly-perfectly aligned into the backgrounds—in some cases, only an intentionally curled corner gave them away.
The photographer also inserted himself into some of the images—with parts of him hidden by the posters—creating a curious 2D-meets-3D effect.
