Creatives Collaborate For ‘LOLcat: The Exhibishun’
Good news feline lovers—there will be another ‘LOLcat’ exhibition!
Held at The Framers Gallery in London, ‘LOLcat: Teh Exhibishun’ will feature a collection of works from various designers, illustrators, photographers, poets and writers—created in response to the ‘LOLcat’ phenomenon.
According to a statement taken from the exhibition’s website, “Ignoring the crudely makeshift LOLCAT aesthetic, each of these artists have to come up with their unique take on the theme to create a piece of beautifully, amusing and exquisitely crafted LOLCAT art.”
Unlike the ‘For The LOL of Cats’ exhibition held at The Photographer’s Gallery, this exhibition will be raising funds for the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home—an animal shelter for abandoned pets.
The exhibition will be curated by Soap Box & Sons and will take place in London from 23 January to 15 February 2013.
