Burger King Birdfeeder: For The ‘Fast-food Generation’ Of Birds
To provide a venue for the ‘fast-food generation’ of birds to have their meals, Copenhagen-based designer Brian Wolter has designed a birdfeeder that looks like a Burger King restaurant.
Called ‘Fly Thru’, it is a sheltered birdfeeder that comes equipped with solar panels to power its signboard—providing light to the ‘establishment’ when it gets darks.
Fly Thru is made of recycled wood and 3D-printed objects, and is meant to be placed in urban environments such as cities—to provide a place for ‘modern and urban’ birds to hang out and have their meals.
