Artist Turns Billboards Into ‘Hanging’ Bamboo Gardens
Los Angeles-based sculptor Stephen Glassman is on a quest to transform billboard spaces around the world into beautiful bamboo gardens.
Designed as a global urban sustainability project, ‘Urban Air’ is set to be rolled out on the freeways of Los Angeles before spreading to other cities.
By taking over billboard in the city, Glassman and his team aims to construct ‘floating’ greenery in place of advertising that will not only be aesthetically pleasing, but help to create cleaner air as well.
Help bring Urban Air beyond its first flagship launch in Los Angeles and to the rest of the world by contributing to its cause on Kickstarter.
