Classic Paintings Get ‘Pixelated’

In a bid to put the belief—that the paintings could be easily recognizable, even when transformed—to the test, Seoul-based Korean graphic designer and artist Sanghyuk Moon pixelated the five classic paintings: van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’ and ‘Self Portrait’, da Vinci’s ‘Mona Lisa’, Munch’s ‘The Scream’, and Vermeer’s ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’.

If you zoom out enough, the iconic paintings are more easily recognizable.
