A Dress That Displays Tweets In Real-Time

Topping off Microsoft’s and Bloomingdales’ paper tweet dress, London-based interactive clothing company Cutecircuit—the people who created the world’s first programmable T-shirt—has come up with a dress that displays tweets in real-time.

Debuted by celebrity Nicole Scherzinger for Britain’s 4G mobile network EE, the dress that’s said to be “the world’s first Haute Couture Twitter Dress” contains 2,000 LED lights.

The dress lights up with animations that move around the wearer’s body—and viewers could send tweets to the Haute Couture dress, via the Twitter handle @EE or #tweetthedress, that would instantly be displayed.

The black evening gown is made of precious French chiffon changeant, and adorned by 3,000 of hematite Swarovski Elements.

Does this dress give you something to tweet about?
