App Creates Invisible Keyboard, Lets Users Type On Any Surface

Swiss designer Florian Kräutli has developed a mobile app that generates an invisible keyboard for your iPhone and allows you to type on any surface.

Using the iPhone’s accelerometer to measure the characteristics of each tap, the ‘Vibrative’ app is able to analyze the vibrations on the surface and work out which key was pressed.

Currently capable of determining the right key for about 80% of the time, the app also includes an auto-correct feature that ensures that words are spelled correctly.
