Japanese Scientist Develops Fart-Deodorizing Underwear
For those who can’t help but often release silent-and-deadly killers, and would like to spend less on fart-deodorizing pads—Japanese Professor Hiroko Ohge of Hiroshima University has developed a material that blocks out embarrassing fart smells and other unpleasant body odors.
Called ‘Inodore’, the odor-deodorizing fabric is made of ceramics that contain metal ions.
Ceramic was chosen for its countless tiny pores, strength, and ability to hold up to wear and washing; while metal ions break down and eliminate the various odors emitted from the body.
The ceramic material was reduced to nanoscopic particles and attached to fibers of the underwear.
Inodore traps and eliminates up to 95% of sweat and gas—80% of which is eliminated in the first 30 seconds of contact.
