Sony Holds World’s First Real-Time Digital Photography Exhibition

Sony has set up the world’s first real-time digital photography exhibition.

The company partnered up with three photographers located in different parts of Europe—London-based Lee Strickland, Paris-based William Daniels and Berlin-based Paul Sullivan—and armed them with Wi-Fi NEX-5R cameras to “capture the light” of their home cities.

Photographs were sent to and displayed in the Sony ‘Real Time Gallery’ in London the moment the shots were taken—‘transporting’ viewers to the various locations, allowing them to appreciate the work and the individual spirits and cultures of the various locations.

The real-time broadcast of photographs made the exhibition evolving and unpredictable.

Could this be the exhibition of the future?
