Disney Pixar’s ‘Up’ Flying Balloon House In Real Life

North Carolina-based professional cluster balloonist Jonathan Trappe recreated Disney Pixar’s Up flying balloon house last weekend for International Balloon Festival in Leon, Mexico—like Laurent Chéhère’s whimsical photographs sans the Photoshop.

Next, he aims to be the first man to fly across the Atlantic using only cluster balloons tied to a tiny yellow boat; Trappe just set sail from Mexico on Friday.

The animation’s flying balloon house has previously been created by engineers for National Geographic Channel’s ‘How Hard Can It Be?.
