Play With Live Animals From Your Computer In Real-Time

Idaho-based software company Reach-In has developed an online service that allows netizens to virtually play with live cats and dogs in animal shelters.

Called ‘iPet Companion, users watch real-time camera recordings of the abandoned pets and control robotic pet toys to play with them.

The service benefits both human and animals; for the pets, it encourages potential pet-owners to adopt and play with orphaned animals; while for humans—who are seated behind computer screens—can unwind by playing with the cute animals.

The iPet Companion can even be set up at home—allowing pet owners to play with their pets from work or while on holiday.
