Photographer Creates Miniature Fire Sculptures With Matchsticks
In a photo series called ‘Matches’, Russian photographer Stanislav Aristov creates miniature fire sculptures, using nothing but matchsticks.
It was reported that he came up with the idea one day in the woods, after he struck a match and noticed the interesting patterns formed on the burned matchstick.
“It was while I was watching the match trying to think of something that I began to think of how it represents life,” said Artistov.
“I guess the funny thing is, I don’t even smoke,” the photographer added.
