Color-Coded Annual Clock Tells The Time In Seasons
By John Yong, 05 Dec 2012
Brooklyn-based design firm m ss ng p eces has created an annual clock that tells the time in seasons.
Called ‘ThePresent’, it displays colors associated with the seasons instead of the usual hours and minutes.
“ThePresent tells the story of the seasons using subtle gradients of pure color to mark the Equinoxes & Solstices throughout the year,” the design firm said, “This original wall clock takes an entire year to complete a single rotation using a first of its kind German-engineered annual movement.”
The clock is even able to magically “set itself” to the current day when two AA batteries are inserted into it.
