Graphic Designer Turns Her Handwriting Into Bespoke Art
Artist and graphic designer Nicole Lavelle has started W-o-r-d-U-p, a fun project where she turns her own handwriting into a customizable typeface and create hand-lettered text art.
For a small sum, people can send in words that they wish for the artist to handwrite—they may choose the size and color of the paper—and Lavelle would produce their bespoke notes to specification.
Using black India ink, this unusual handwritten service also takes custom orders—you can even request for the artist to write you a poem!
If you are fascinated with these typographers’ handwriting, you should also be enthralled by this simple but brilliant idea of turning handwriting into art.
