An Amazing Historic Church Completely Covered In Graffiti

Atlanta-based artist Hense has transformed a historic church in Washington, D.C. into a stunning work of art, by covering its exterior with a bold, vibrantly-colored mural.

Located in an up-and-coming art district, the abstract mural reflects the artist’s graffiti background and his more recently acquired contemporary aesthetic.

Using the spray paint, rollers and brushes, Hense splattered the church’s façade with splotches of brilliant colors and fantastic patterns—creating a striking contrast between the architecture and its provocative new paint job.
