Yves Béhar Redesigns NIVEA Brand

Beiersdorf AG, owner of German skincare brand NIVEA, collaborated with Swiss product design studio Yves Béhar / fuseproject to have the brand design overhauled.

Tapping on the brand’s iconic blue tin, Béhar gave NIVEA an updated logo that uses the crème tin as its trademark—so that its refreshed look still embodies something recognizable and traditional.

The skincare brand’s logo and packaging designs were reduced to the blue and white colors; its bottles’ lids, embossed with the NIVEA logo to reflect the classic blue tin, now tilt towards customers.

As a result, NIVEA products—with redesigned packaging—are more easily recognizable on shelves around the world.
