‘Lord Of The Rings-Style Treehouse’ Offers Elvish-Like Accommodations

Antony Gibbon has designed a treehouse that looks like the elves’ forest home taken right out of the Lord of the Rings movie.

Called ‘Roost Treehouse’, the concept treetop dwelling is made up of a series of pod-like capsules harnessed to tree trunks.

Each capsule has sleeping quarters, and a spiral staircase that leads up to an outdoor viewing platform, which connects to adjoining pods.

Only one of the pods has a staircase that runs to the ground.

Designed to mimic organic forms found in nature, Roost aims to blend in and camouflage itself with the rest of the forest.

If this concept actually gets built, would you like to stay in it?

Gibbons is now available for projects of alternative structures and can be reached at his website.
