A Font That Is Composed Of Nike Air Jordan Sneakers
By Dorothy Tan, 29 Jan 2013
Portland-based designer Will Smith—a fan of the Nike Air Jordan—has created an illustrated typeface that is composed of the iconic sneakers themselves.
Inspired by the typeface used on the Jordan Retro Card, each of these fonts is formed by the deconstructed parts of its corresponding sneakers.
Although a new design for the Air Jordan has been released every year since 1985, the designer has only produced customized number fonts for a few of them.
