Graphic Designer Creates Name-Based Calligraphy Fonts To Gain Twitter Followers
Based in The Netherlands, graphic and type designer Dave Foster came up with a creative way to reach the milestone of having 1,000 followers on Twitter more quickly—by offering new followers a custom-made piece of calligraphy art based on a name of their choice.
Hand-writing each name in calligraphy, the designer created about 40 one-of-a-kind typefaces in all.
This calligraphy-for-followers strategy enabled him to hit the thousand followers mark in a few hours—he originally needed more than a month to gain the number of followers he needed.
If you are looking to expand your Twitter following, you may want to take a page from Foster’s book—view all of the calligraphy fonts he created for this project on his website.
