‘Buildings’ That Literally Suck
Dutch Artist Frank Halmans has built vacuum cleaners shaped liked houses.
Affectionately named ‘Hoover Buildings’, the collection of fully-functioning machines collect debris into the interior of a miniature house.
This work is a commentary on the clutter that we both live with and allow into our lives—Physically and metaphorically.
Artistic purposes aside, unless you want your beloved dolls to get mucky, we don’t advise that you leave them in there while cleaning.
