Frying Pan Bottoms Beautifully Captured To Look Like Strange Planets
Norwegian photographer Christopher Jonassen has produced a series of pictures in which the bottoms of frying pans are made to resemble planets from another galaxy.
Titled ‘Devour’, Jonassen drew inspiration from a quote by French existentialist writer, Jean-Paul Sartre, who said, “To eat is to appropriate destruction”—this definitely rings true when one considers the scratched, scorched and burnt surfaces depicted in the photographs.
These pans might not be in the best shape for cooking, but they now have a higher purpose as beautiful artworks.
